Check-In Post #9
Week eight is now complete! There are five weeks left in the official creation period, plus about four weeks in posting month. Each week, I'll make a new check-in post with a few optional discussion questions. You can use this post to update us on our progress, complain, celebrate, or talk to other participants! Also feel free to discuss each week's questions in our discord server.
Comment to share how your week went!
Optional Discussion Questions
0. How's your project coming? How did this week go?
1. How do you feel about your choice of project now? Was it the right one? Were you prepared enough to start working?
2. What's going well? What's the easiest or most successful part of your current work?
3. What was the main or biggest reason you signed up for this challenge? (Time to remember your inspiration!)

1. Yes! Still feeling good about this project. My only regret is I don't have enough free time during the creation period to take on a fic project as well!
2. Mm... not much. I am pleased that whenever I put in all the solid black areas, my page suddenly looks hugely more professional and like a Real Comic than when I just have the lineart. That always makes me feel encouraged, especially since it's not a very time-intensive step at all. :D
3. I want that certificate of winning! Also, I very much appreciate the push to do a longer comic that's entirely for me. There aren't really any other opportunities to do that. So, as much as possible, I want to take advantage of the deadline here to motivate me to actually get this thing done. But also, there's a limit to how hard I can push myself, so if I get it done, I get it done, but if I just don't have the time to finish it, I'm not super bothered. I also am really looking forward to when I can finally share the comic with everyone and they can see all the work I put in!
