The creation period officially begins April 30 at 11:59 PM EDT - tonight!
Posting/reveals month will begin July 31, 11:59 PM and run through September 1, 11:59 PM EDT. You can post and update your works at any time from the beginning of the creation period to the end of posting month. The exchange collections will remain unrevealed until posting month begins, at which time both works and creators will be revealed together.
There are two collections for Fandom Orienteer Challenge on AO3: the main collection here, and the Fandom Orienteer Challenge Detours collection here. If you have signed up for the challenge, works you will use to "win" by fulfilling your minimum (up to two) should be posted to the main collection. Other works, including extra works, works that were too short, works you wrote for a prompt after finishing your assignment, and works by users who did not sign up should be posted to the detours collection. They will reveal on the same day and will be advertised together. The main collection will close after winning ends, but the detours collection will remain open.
In order to post your work, you have two options. You can go to the collection profile or dashboard page (e.g., here) and click "Post to Collection" in the right upper corner. Alternatively, you can go to the AO3 New Work page, scroll down to "Post to Collections/Challenges" under the "Associations" section, and type in the collection name, then select it from the dropdown list.
ETA (July 31): If you post your work(s) on a site other than AO3, you may officially declare them here.
Additional Posting Guidelines:
You may gift a work created for the challenge to another user.
Fandom Orienteer Challenge allows overlapping with other challenges and events, but please make sure you check with the rules or organizers of the other event, as many fandom events do not.
Please use the official AO3 warnings appropriately (e.g., choose a warning, No Archive Warnings Apply, or Choose Not to Warn). There are no other warning guidelines.
RPF featuring people famous for participating in the Nazi regime or other genocides, real life serial killers, and modern people under the age of 18 is not allowed. I may add to this list or ban thinly fictionalized versions thereof on my sole discretion.

Date: 2023-07-14 09:13 pm (UTC)A quick question regarding the posting month.
You can post and update your works at any time
- regarding the update part, does this mean if your work is chaptered you can post it in parts across the month?
Thanks!
