Week thirteen is now complete! The posting period will begin on July 31 at 11:59 PM EDT, and at that point you will have just over one month to post your complete work, until September 1 at 11:59 PM EDT. I will continue making check-in posts over posting month.

Each week, I'll make a new check-in post with a few optional discussion questions. You can use this post to update us on our progress, complain, celebrate, or talk to other participants! Also feel free to discuss each week's questions in our discord server.

Posting Period Announcements and Instructions

The official posting period will begin on July 31 at 11:59 PM EDT, in just over seven hours, and continue until September first at 11:59 PM EDT, in about a month.

First, this means that the Fandom Orienteer Challenge AO3 collections (Main collection here, Detours collection here) will be revealed in seven hours. This is a good time to look at your work and make sure any editing marks or placeholder text is removed and the work is ready to go live.

As a reminder, you can start posting and update your work at any point within the posting period and still win the challenge! You also still have about seven hours to update your sign up form if you would like to change the length or number of works in your goal. You can add new sign ups for the rest of that time.

In light of current events with the OTW, I have decided to accept works posted to other sites. If you would like to post your Fandom Orienteer Challenge work elsewhere, please wait until the posting period begins in seven hours and then you may feel free to do so. Please comment with a link to the work here.

Works which will not be complete by the end of the month, are under your length goal, or are not part of a challenge sign up can be posted to the Detours collection. At the end of the posting period, the main collection will be closed to new works, but the Detours collection will remain open.

When your winning work(s) is completely posted, you can fill out this form to make your win official and claim your prizes. You can choose to be publicly credited as a winner, to receive a digital winner's certificate, and/or to receive physical mailed stickers (if you have a mailing address in a country that can receive post from the United States). There will also be a participation prize claim form, which will go up at the end of the posting period.
